DR. MARTIN H. HANDLER
Dr. Martin Handler has been in the exclusive practice of cardiology and cardiovascular diseases since 1979 and has since become renowned for his work in this field. Affiliated with prestigious St. Francis Hospital, The Heart Center, Dr Handler has been a leading force in providing the most inclusive, non invasive cardiac care. His impressive portfolio includes Board Certification in three specialties,including Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine and Nuclear Medicine.

Kathleen Dello, Registered Nurse, BSN, Practice Administrator, is an experienced cardiac care nurse. She is certified and credentialed as a Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. All of our Physicians and Registered Professional Nurses are certified by the American Heart Association in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). In addcition, staff members are certified in Basic Life Support (BLS).

Our History
Dr. Martin Handler founded his medical practice in 1979. It successfully expanded with the addition of Heart Diagnostic Imaging in 1996, establishing one of the first accredited Stress Radionuclide Laboratories in the United States. It was the first such diagnostic laboratories accredited in Nassau County and the five Boroughs of New York making landmark strides in the prevention of cardiac disease though diagnosis and treatment.
